Tech Stop, the Office of Information Technology's student-focused technology center, is located at 101 Coffman Memorial Union. The Tech Stop provides a central location for students, faculty and staff to receive face-to-face technology consultations and support.
Tech Stop offers walk-in assistance with and support for University technology services including e-mail client configuration; Internet password changes—including a self-service password change station for students; Symantec AntiVirus installation or assistance; consultations on virus removal; ResNet connection problem troubleshooting; updating drivers; common good software such as e-mail, UMCal, WebVista, and Moodle; and much more, including general "how do I get started with…." questions.
All faculty, staff, and students are invited to join us in celebrating the grand opening of the new Learning Environment, Computer Lab, and Tech Stop on November 13. See an invitation (PDF).

Window 7 is now available through the University of Minnesota Microsoft Campus Agreement Program for Students. Be sure to check out the site "Things to consider" before upgrading to Windows 7.
