Telephone Models and Prices

When users order VoIP service through the Office of Information Technology (OIT), they also need to purchase a VoIP telephone.

Desk Phones

Currently, there are three models of VoIP telephones available to order from OIT: 53i, 55i, and 57i. The three models each share the same basic functions; however, they differ in the amount and type of features. Some of the features are listed below.

When ordering VoIP service, OIT staff can help users choose a VoIP telephone that best serves their needs.

Conference Phones

OIT has tested and approved the use of the ClearOne VoIP conference phones with the University telephone system. These phones may be ordered by University customers at the GovConnection Web site. A generic VoIP line of service must be ordered through OIT to establish a University phone number and connect the phone to the University system.

Note: Implementation of VoIP services on new sites requires an estimate to be prepared by a project manager due to additional infrastructure costs such as licensing fees, power over Ethernet, port costs, physical space, equipment environmental conditions, and etc. Due to the infrastructure cost to deploy VoIP at the University it is deployed at the discretion of OIT.
